HOLISTIC PRACTICE
PHILOSOPHY
I believe the massage therapy is more than a luxury. It is a holistic approach to health, engaging the whole person, physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually.

The massage therapy as a ‘healing art’ has been around for thousands of years, and it's been practiced almost in every culture since the beginning of time. Over the years, techniques have been developed that activate a natural healing process, improving blood flow, stimulating hormone production and helping the body heal itself.

A regular movement, whether that is through sports, physical activities, work or the other stresses and strains of daily life, muscles can easily become overworked and tired. These muscular imbalances as aches, pains and soreness can affect overall health and well-being.

As a qualified sports massage therapist, I have developed an outstanding work ethic and I’m dedicated to getting the best results for each client. It’s my desire to utilize massage therapy and personal training knowledge to help my clients with injury prevention, maintain range of motion, improve movement patterns for muscles and joints, and the most important achieve my client’s physical and emotional balance.
Forget*me*knot! Massage Therapy is a great way to relax sore, tight or knotted muscles. Get a massage, renew your mind, go to bed earlier and drink more water. Be positive. Your body will thank you!

THE ART OF MASSAGE
DEEP TISSUE MASSAGE
SPORTS MASSAGE
Deep tissue massage is a massage technique used to treat musculoskeletal issues. It uses relatively greater pressure with slow, deep strokes to target the deeper layers of muscles and connective tissues. This will relax deep muscles and treat a pain and stiffness. A deep tissue massage is often recommended for individuals suffering from muscle pain, soreness or fatigue. The technique encourages blood flow which helps to loosen tight muscles and relax trigger points that cause knots and pulled muscles. This makes deep tissue massage great for rehabilitation and recovery from exercise or physical stress and strain.

The time duration of this massage is 60-90 minutes.
Sports massage uses a wide range of techniques to realign and loosen muscle fibres in individuals who experience sport-related tension. It can also be used to improve posture and condition an athlete’s body so they can perform their best.
This kind of massage will combine soft tissue massage, deep tissue massage, and whole-body massage along with stretching techniques to assist in recovery and rehabilitation. It is often recommended for athletes or individuals who participates in regular physical activity and are prone to sport-related injury.

The time duration of this massage is 60-90 minutes.
PRE-EVENT MASSAGE
POST-EVENT MASSAGE
It helps with mental preparation for speed, strength and explosive power events.
Massage techniques are usually brisk and vigorous, with a faster massage pace to stimulate the muscles or muscle groups. Pre-event massage increases overall blood circulation to achieve greater flexibility and a bigger range of motions thorough muscles and joints and minimalizes the onset of lactic acid.
It helps treat and prevent delayed onset muscles, fatigue and tightness.
Post-event massage aims to increase the body's rate of recovery by reducing inflammation in the muscles. It increases vascular and lymphatic activity, aiding the body's natural process of removing waste products after exercise, such as lactic acid.
